Hey y’all! My name is miss al boogie and I am an independent dancer, singer/songwriter, producer and digital creator. I graduated from NYU in Music Business and have been working in the music, dance and education fields ever since. Professionally, I’ve received teaching artist awards, became a member of the SAG-AFTRA acting union as well as ASCAP music performing rights organization.
Thanks for coming through! I have been working on my Luv, Boogie music album and have reached an impasse.

I’m writing today to ask for your help. You see I’ve been working on music for years but in the last 3 I taught myself to record and produce. During the pandemic, I used my time at home to build this album; teach dance online; and shoot edit and release my own dance videos.
I released a single and music video for my song “For A Short Time” in February 2022.
FOST cover artThis was all self-produced with mixing and mastering done by Doug Gomez, a well established House music producer. It is available everywhere. My dance videos have also reached large and small screens across NYC since their release. All of this has given me a bigger audience and created more work relationships for me. I have heard from people in Australia, India, England and more asking for what’s next.
But my tech is dying. And I can’t release my music. I need to finish producing, mixing and mastering my other songs. My computer and software I’ve been using for the past 9 years is outdated. My current freelance work pays the bills only and I don’t want to keep this music sitting in my old hard drive.
My goal is to raise $4000 to purchase an updated computer meant for music and video production, music and video software, pay for mixing and mastering and speed up my creative processes.
Once I have these tools I will complete my album, shoot music videos, release these songs and…launch my Patreon page. Having the tech to put out my creations will scale up my business and also make me more available to collaborate with other artists. It also will make me more available to take on clients.
Music and dance have carried me and so many others through these last 3 years. Ultimately, your contribution is to reach the greater goal of completing the Luv, Boogie EP, mixing and mastering the songs, and giving more fun and loving music & dance to the world.
I got some fun rewards that I think you’ll love. And I can’t wait to perform live for you. Any contribution you make helps. And please share this with whoever you can. Thank you so much for reading. And thank you for your support.
Special thanks to Zardon Richardson for filming my video and Iquo Essien for fundraising coaching. And also special thanks to Smartbomb Studios for the creation of the miss al boogie logo, and Doug Gomez for mixing and mastering the Luv, Boogie EP.
