&BEYOND Event Studio, LLC is the future of community engagement. Built on the mindset that culture isn’t exclusive to the city. The studio will be set in an industrial backdrop, imagine a space with grit and glam, to celebrate life's infinite possibilities.
Harnessing the desire to have a place to call yours after work, class, a long day, or on the weekend. We pride ourselves on being the ideal location to kick back, network, connect, and mix & mingle with like-minded individuals.
With limited or scattered venue options for “nightlife” and event spaces in Crofton, MD, there is currently nothing available operating under this business structure!
The community will have an ideal location for their personal and professional needs. While also having a private place to host events of their own in an exclusive setting.
There is a market for those of us who are seeking different cultural experiences, niche interests, and non-traditional locations to host our distinctive events, and are looking for a place of our own.
&BEYOND plans to operate as a dedicated space that hosts events AND rents space! Gone are the days of inadequate UBER and Lyft rides from equidistant Washington, D.C, and Baltimore. Gone are the days commuting over 30 minutes for something trendy to do, experiencing the same-ole’ kind of events at one of the restaurants/bars. Let’s create this Dedicated Event Space &Beyond...

The goal of this campaign is to secure a physical location. Utilizing any additional crowdfunding income to offset the needs of traditional business loans.
Traditional business loans can cripple underrepresented female entrepreneurs. By supporting, sharing, and contributing to this page you assist a young female entrepreneur in having a fighting chance.
Your support will give us the opportunity to start the process of developing an inclusive space in the suburbs for ALL.
When you support this campaign, you're not only chipping away at our financial goal. You are starting the ripple effect of creating a space for the in-betweeners who aren't quite yet at the stage of adulthood, but for those who are "adulting", and in need of community support when things get hard. A place that feels like at any given moment you'd bump into someone who could help you with that thing you don't quite know how to accomplish alone. I want to create a place that gives you the experience of the city, yet with the warmth of the suburbs. I am creating a place where NO MATTER WHAT, the fact that you are a living breathing human being, you belong.

Event Staff
Covers event logistics, set-up/break down, cleaning, office maintenance, inventory, on-site event services, and other duties as assigned.
The ideal location would be a FLEX use commercial space currently in the partial buildout phase. Boasting an open concept, exposed and vaulted ceilings, with minimal storage, and accessible restroom facilities.
Think WeWorkTM, the GardenTM, warehouse/industrial complex, and New York Loft space, had a baby, then raised it in a suburban landscape.
THE VISION...
COVID-19 Business Viability
Understanding that this is not an essential service, &BEYOND is conscious of the impact on the success of a venture like this. Planning for the sustainability and longevity during an uncertain time; &BEYOND functioning as a private event facility would still be able to maintain contracted and scheduled event services. The COVID environment wouldn’t change the pricing structure as &BEYOND was already priced competitively and economically for the area.
Following the Anne Arundel County Road to Recovery, Social Gatherings are permissible to 25 people indoors and up to 100 people organized outdoors.
Utilizing protocol and PPE safety measures, &BEYOND can withstand the NEW COVID Economy.
Weddings
Event capacity, as seen in similar trending business economies... wedding ceremonies and receptions have been scaled down, but are still being held; couples are moving forward in an effort to not lose all previously invested resources and purchases. Having a facility that is private to the contracted party, ensures that couples are still able to hold their services in one safe location. Drifting us into the Micro-wedding trend!
Meeting spaces
Having a space and location for businesses who needed to have access to office equipment when transitioning to telework, &BEYOND could still rent the facility for 2-4 hour time periods. Sitting in a mask for hours isn’t ideal, so having a functional workspace to conduct business in while being safe, is an organizational qualifier for &BEYOND.
scheduled events
Manned at a 25 person, staffing inclusive capacity, events can still maintain, with the appropriate facility, social distancing guidelines, PPE materials, and protocols in place set forth by the Governor of Maryland and County Executive. Offering those who are inching into their new normal, safety while participating in peace of mind breaks from isolated self-quarantines.
