The Mission of MBS Holistic Travel:
MBS Holistic Travel is dedicated to creating transformative retreats for people of all backgrounds, empowering them to heal, grow, and thrive. Our mission is to provide accessible and inclusive wellness experiences, fostering mind-body-spirit renewal while exploring the beauty of cultural immersion.
The Problem We’re Solving:
In our fast-paced world, stress, trauma, and lack of meaningful self-care opportunities have become common struggles. Women of color, in particular, face unique barriers to accessing spaces of healing and support, often juggling grief, trauma, and burnout without adequate resources to recover.
Currently, we are focused on raising funds for our upcoming Women of Color Retreat—a safe and rejuvenating space to address these specific challenges. Unfortunately, while we had secured a stunning retreat location, the dates we reserved were released because we couldn’t raise the deposit in time.
The Opportunity:
The wellness industry is a multi-billion-dollar market, but it frequently excludes the underserved. Our retreats fill this gap, offering customized, culturally resonant experiences designed to transform lives.
Four women have already expressed their deep need for this retreat but lack the financial means to attend:
- A cancer survivor rediscovering herself post-recovery.
- A grieving woman learning to live after loss.
- Two survivors of trauma, including one who painfully shared that she’s forgotten how to feel feminine.
