Iridescent Women is a digital media company committed to awakening and championing the brilliance of every woman through honest conversations and authentic connections.
OUR BELIEF IN WOMEN
We believe every woman is brilliant- uniquely formed and divinely woven together, with the ability to light up this world through goodness and kindness, bravery and resilience. Her shimmer is multi-faceted and potential uncontainable. Created with purpose, she is destined to shine.
BECAUSE THE STRUGGLE IS REAL
In a digital age filled with filtered selfies, highlight reels, and branded personas, women are often left feeling the pressure to become more aspirational versions of themselves or to conform to society's narrow minded picture of the ideal woman. Women are also struggling to tend to their personal wellness, cultivate life-giving relationships, live from a deep sense of purpose, and fight gender and racial inequalities.
HOW WE ARE SUPPORTING WOMEN
Iridescent Women is changing the narrative for women today. We are a vibrant digital platform created for women and by women. Since our launch a little over two years ago, we have published articles from over 200 different female contributors from around the world, and have featured over 75 different women through written and video interviews, our podcast episodes, online webinars, and live events. We are building an online community where women can be real and vulnerable, where authenticity is more than a buzzword, where females of all sizes, skin tones, and seasons of life are celebrated for who they are and not just who they aspire to be or who they are told they ought to be.
We are providing women with:
- relevant articles and videos exploring topics related to career, finances, relationships, beauty, fashion, wellness, spirituality, culture and the latest news updates
- podcast episodes featuring extraordinary women from all walks of life sharing their journeys and expertise
- weekly education around issues of racial injustice, empowering women to grow in their understanding and empowering them to advocate for change
- practical webinars, events, and other helpful resources to encourage and equip women
- exclusive discounts from female led brands and businesses, bringing awareness and support to female founders
Iridescent Women is fostering a community where women are celebrated, encouraged, challenged and empowered by other women. We are supporting them in their struggles, celebrating them in their successes, and helping them thrive in their daily lives.
Our team of diverse and passionate women are uniquely qualified to grow our reach and offerings as a company. Over the last two years we have not only successfully piloted our platform but have consistently grown our followers, subscribers, customers and partnerships.
OUR NEXT GOALS
We are currently crowdfunding to expand our reach as a company, with the initial goal of raising at least $15,000. We are also excited to announce two generous donors have committed to matching all funds raised through IFW for Iridescent Women up to $8,500! That means every dollar you give will go twice as far! Thank you for your generosity! 25% of funds raised will go towards current operating expenses. (Having been impacted by this year’s pandemic as a small business, these funds are crucial for our continued success.) And 75% will go towards growth initiatives including the development of a membership program, an app and strategic partnerships.
