In only four years, YOWIE has become a bedrock of Philadelphia’s young creative class. Our ever-growing community has engaged with our store, our workshops, and our collaborations, trusting our voice on all things design and hospitality.

#We’reALotOfThings to our community. Now, we’re building the physical space to be all of those things at once, and at the highest level possible.

YOWIE is evolving into a multi-floor platform for creativity, bringing hospitality, design, retail, and community engagement into one interconnected space with multiple consumer touchpoints.

YOWIE is building the future of dynamic retail: an (endlessly) shoppable space to stay, shop, collaborate, and explore, curated from our unique point of view and empowered by the community of artists, shoppers, and creators that trust our voice and vision.

This spacial flexibility enables shoppable moments curated by YOWIE and its brand partners in ways that are unprecedented in the Philadelphia market.

Named "The Coolest Shop in Philadelphia" by Bon Appetit, YOWIE’s expansion is a natural amalgamation of what our team has built over four years: a trusted brand that has grown each year in sales, influence, and impact, all through word-of-mouth praise and organic (unpaid) earned media from nation’s leading voices on design and hospitality.

That influence has led to multiple opportunities to amplify our voice across mediums, from speaking engagements at Pinterest HQ to leading interior designs at some of the year’s most notable spaces, like Brooklyn’s acclaimed Ethel’s Club.

Our community of creators, collaborators, and shoppers have followed and supported us because we offer a level of service and personalization unavailable in Philly’s current landscape of retail chains and big-box stores. With this expanded multi-touchpoint model for YOWIE, each stream of business flows organically to the next.

Our founder Shannon brings experience from retail, design, hospitality, and branding. Four years later we need your help to create opportunity through our new concept. We are raising this first round of "virtual friends and family funding" to bring on our first ever full-time team member  because people are the secret sauce to YOWIE!

We’re also currently seeking brand partners who are just excited about this opportunity as we are. YOWIE’s expansion will be unlike anything else in Philly, and we’re eager to bring brands along for this incredible journey.
