At the Beem Box our mission is to encourage and inspire the beauty that is within you! We created a unique beauty box that encourages and celebrates who you are as a woman of color.
Radiate, shine and beem with makeup uniquely chosen for black and brown skinned beauties.

Selecting the right makeup products takes time, research, and effort. And Current beauty boxes primarily create for one demographic and leaving out a large population of consumers frustrated and dissatisfied. Black women spend $7.5 Billion a year on beauty products, but only have access to 33% of cosmetics market. We want to expand that, and provide black and brown women better access to makeup products for their skin tone.

The Beem Box researches and tests makeup products for diverse skin tones; we then use customer provided data to curate personalized beauty boxes.

My founder journey

Nimi Fafowora, the Founder and CEO of Beem Box, is an experienced engineer with an enthusiasm for the beauty world. Driven by her ardor to broaden the beauty industry, she takes pride in cultivating spaces for underrepresented women to thrive. The Beem Box was inspired by one of her older sisters Bimi, nicknamed Beem! She is the sister that would help out in any makeup, hair, or fashion pinch.

 Since launch, Beem Box has been recognized in Elle and Cosmo, for the brands commitment to diversifying the beauty subscription box industry.

Originally from Nigeria, Nimi currently resides in California. And apart from working at the computer all day, Nimi loves to go camping with her family, and enjoys creating inspirational entrepreneur content.
