Project Description
At For the Youth Foundation, our mission is to foster awareness and education among young children, families, and communities about the significance of farming, wellness, physical health, and sustainability. Currently, our challenge lies in securing adequate funding to execute these activities for the youth in our community. Your support through donations can make this mission possible.
Our highlight is a 2-month summer farming camp at Rockaway Beach, catering to kids aged 3-10. Our hands-on approach involves teaching farming education, from planting and growing vegetables to harvesting and making healthy meals at home. With your contributions, we aim to expand our program's reach, plan and attend mission-aligned retreats, and provide children with all necessary equipment.
Our program operates on a cost-free basis for the families of these children, emphasizing our commitment to removing financial barriers within the community.
