WOC SPACE MARKETING

Woc Space Marketing is a marketing agency with a business' mind and an activist's heart.

Woc Space community is one that welcomes and empowers womxn, mainly womxn of color (woc), to start and scale their own businesses through smart and savvy marketing.

We believe that putting money into the hands of more woc and woc allies is one of the best solutions to many of society's challenges.

Imagine a world where the image of an empowered businessperson is a womxn of color.

OF THE FUNDS

All of the funds raised here will go toward the cost of hosting these panels and supporting these panelists.

This includes:

• paying the panelists
• paying the moderator
• covering the cost of training and development of the panelists

In addition to being selected and paid as a panelist, each panelist is offer the opportunity for group coaching at no cost to them in preparation for the panel. This coaching helps them hone in on their story and branding, and offers them the opportunity to create meaningful and valuable assets for their marketing even after the panel.

The suggested donation is $97 per panel. To maintain accessibility for all, we are asking you pay what you can to attend.

I believe in the power of entrepreneurship because my family
has been shaped by entrepreneurship for generations.

My abuelos emigrated from Cuba when my abuelo lost his engineering firm to the Communist revolution. My dad was able to provide our family a comfortable upbringing from his own successful engineering firm here in the States. And now, I have found a great sense of purpose and personal freedom through my own business.

Womxn of color face an intersection of oppression--both on the basis of gender and of race.
Traditional workplaces often create obstacles for womxn of color to succeed and climb the corporate ladder. Due to this systemic oppression, many woc leave the traditional workplace to start their own business or supplement their income with side hustles.

I aim to support womxn through this transition into self-employment. Internalized racism and sexism makes this transition particularly difficult, and the homogeny of white online business owners deepens the cut of imposter syndrome for woc.

Woc Space is a community first. We provide an empowering space to remind woc of their own power, while encouraging them to pursue their true calling. We are all coaches, mentors, cheerleaders, confidantes, and supporters for each other in our entrepreneurial journey.

G O A L S

OF THIS CAMPAIGN

I want to diversify the stories we hear from entrepreneurs. I want to hear from womxn business owners across every industry, ethnicity, race, and all walks of life.

Through this campaign, I want to amplify voices of ALL womxn.
I want to pass the mic to folx from other marginalized communities and share the metaphorical stage with representatives of all life experience.

Representation matters.

The goal of this campaign is to bring more stories to the front to encourage more womxn to pursue their own entrepreneurial journey. If someone feels they see themselves in one of the businesswomxn represented, then it is more likely they will feel comfortable pursuing this life path.

Join us to hear from womxn of all walks of life,
and make sure they are compensated for their emotional labor by donating to this campaign.

Woc Space will host these panels regularly, occurring quarterly (at minimum), to consistently bring fresh perspective to the forefront of entrepreneurship.
So far, we have 2 panels confirmed for July--Woc in Business and Woc in Healing.
