Project Description
- To provide efficient livelihood improvement technologies to people especially at community level, promoting sustainability, energy security and clean environment through sales and service of reliable Renewable Energy products by our team of emphatic people.
- Approximately seventy percent of Nigeria’s 170 million people rely on traditional fuel wood stoves for cooking and heating despite the health dangers it poses. There has been emergence of improved cookstoves that cost less to fuel and have no strain on health dangers, the low level of awareness of the benefits of improved cookstoves and the seemingly high cost of purchasing it has hindered the uptake of these improved and clean stoves. The project is planned to improve the livelihood of the target population, enhance the quality of lives of the poor by providing them with improved cookstoves.
- Increasing demand for power coupled with irregular power supply from the national grid will continue to drive demand for alternative energy sources especially solar products.
Stakeholders’increasing drive of local awareness of the benefits of solar products should drive sales in the medium term. - Eighty percent of people in rural Nigeria Communities cook over open fires and use inefficient lighting in their homes. For every two hours spent in an enclosed space under such conditions, people have smoked the equivalent of one pack of cigarettes. Using Renewable Energy solutions to cook food and light homes can reduce this problem by more than 90 percent.
- We are are seeking fund to implement the project. The fund will be used to purchase the stove materials and transport the materials to Communities where the stove we be built and also to buy solar lamps for distributions in Communities.
- Proposed management team for Eco Splash comprises the Managing Director and some Managers handling diverse responsibilities that will move the activities of the organization forward sustainably.
