Meet The Woke Mystix
The Woke Mystix is a safe space for the discussion of astrology, spirituality, self care, and magic from the perspective of two non-conforming womxn of color.
The Problem
Within our own spiritual journeys, we have witnessed that the lack of cultural representation and diversity in the wellness industry.
The Solution
We created visibility for diversity and inclusivity of spiritual practices through The Woke Mystix podcast. You can find 60 plus episodes from us as well as featured healers within Ayurveda, Brujeria, Tarot and more.
Our Impact
Over the last year and a half we have a gained listeners from around the globe, tuning in from Denmark, Canada, Australia, The UK, The U.S. and beyond.

Our Ask
How we will spend this $20,000?
Help us expand our audience so we can reach more listeners like you who want to learn about spirituality
$6,000 will go towards our marketing efforts, which will include; social media ads, PR representation, publicity and brand partnerships. We have been building our efforts within marketing, but accessing funding for such resources is limited. This will help us with expansion of the platform and access to relationships we haven't been able to financially invest in the past.
Help us bring our services to the BIPOC community
$2,000 will be used for a sponsorship fund dedicated to the BIPOC community for services on our website. Both Ellen and Imani are practitioners offering individual sessions through The Woke Mystix platform. We want to actively provide accessibility to those who can't afford the cost associated with wellness services.
Help us fund our next season!
$12,000 will help us with the continuation of producing the podcast and The Woke Mystix platform. If you've had the chance to listen to our past episodes then you know the power of spiritual knowledge! Help us keep that growing by funding our next season so that we can continue putting out magical content for you! These costs are for operations, social media and business development and the production of the podcast.
Funding is essential to the progression of our platform. Black women receive only 1% of VC funding, leaving an equitable future out of the picture. Let's shift the paradigm together!
