A sharp and satirical mockumentary series that hilariously tackles the PR blunders of online personas and the struggles of coming of age in the digital era.

But who picks up the pieces when influencers crash and burn? 

THE WORLD OF OUR SERIES

Set in the ambition capital of New York City, The Wild Wild Web follows a "case of the week" format similar to Scandal or Nip/Tuck, with the moral complexity of The Good Place and the sharp comedic pacing of Broad City.

Each episode is inspired by a real-life influencer scandal, forcing our PR team to invent creative (and occasionally questionable) solutions while navigating their own messy lives.

 
OUR PILOT: BASED ON A TRUE STORY

Your funding directly supports production of our pilot episode: A 13-year-old girl fakes her own death for social media fame, and our PR team must navigate the moral complexity of restoring her image.

Inspired by actual events, this premiere episode sets the tone for a series that tackles real scandals with satirical precision.

 
MEET THE PR FIXERS

Ev

PR prodigy freshly fired from NYC's top agency. Brilliant but impulsive, she's determined to be the Olivia Pope for influencers, at any cost. 

 

Cai

Wannabe lawyer who cannot pass the bar. He's the group's ethical compass, bringing a strong moral clarity that often clashes with Ev's stubborn ambition.

 

Belle

Trust-fund socialite with connections in every corner of New York. Her glamorous façade hides her own insecurities.

The Wild Wild Web isn't just another show about self-absorbed influencers—it's a nuanced exploration of redemption in an unforgiving digital landscape, the blurred lines between online personas and real identitiesparasocial relationships that define modern fame, and the psychological toll of living life online. 

Through our diverse cast and women-led creative team, we're building a show that captures this pivotal cultural moment with authenticity, humor, and heart.

A Cameroonian-American creator with extensive experience in traditional and digital media. Having collaborated with Gersh, Lionsgate, and TalentX, Janice has worked on influencer campaigns for major brands like Apple, Amazon, and P&G. 

 

As Executive Producer of the NYFA 2023 award-winning series Sweeps, she brings over eight years of TV and film development experience to the project. Additionally, she was selected as an Unlock Her Potential mentee by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and has built a strong foundation in film and production across multiple platforms.

A Brooklyn-based producer, writer, and creative director with a passion for creating impactful experiences. She is known for her role as the creative director behind the KABASIA runway show, recognized by Essence during New York Fashion Week 2023. 

 

Morgan was also selected for the Harvardwood New York Feature Film Writing Group for 2024-25 and named an I’MPart Fellow by the Ad Club of New York.

Elyse Fox's inspiration for her popular Sad Girls Club all started with a short film project called "Conversations with Friends," aimed to tackle an issue many women deal with: mental health. 

 

Elyse has shared her talent with brands including Maybelline, BDG Media Group, Eventbrite and Google. She’s also a proud member of Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty Mental Health Council.

A Director of Photography and Director with a vast portfolio across episodic TV, commercials, feature films, documentaries, and music videos. Having worked with brands like HBO, Google, and Estee Lauder, Adam’s work has aired on broadcast TV, won film festival awards, and garnered millions of views on streaming platforms. 

 

With experience shooting for high-profile clients such as Jeff Goldblum, Kendall Jenner, and Zoe Kravitz, he has made significant contributions to both film and branded content.

Imani Pope-Johns currently leads a team of expert consultants on communications and customer experience contracts at Aptive Resources. 

 

She previously served as a civil servant leading strategic communications and media relations at the United States Digital Service within the White House - Office of Management and Budget.

What is the age rating for the show? We're making our show in line with PG (Parental Guidance) raiting guidelines, making it accessible and appropriate for audiences of all ages.
