I am looking to fund a portion of the startup costs associated with my transport company, Platinum Routes and Transport, based in TX.
Project Description
- What is the mission of your company or project? Our mission is to provide a transport service that exceeds expectations and transcends what has been seen as the status quo. We want to set a new standard within the business.
- Describe the problem you are solving. There is currently a shortage of goods, product and tools in grocery stores, hospitals, stores, etc.. One of the contributing factors is a lack of freight transport companies and workers. My business will work within the DFW market where shortages are most prevalent in the U.S.
- What is the market size/opportunity? Dallas/FW is home to 24 Fortune 500 companies and 20,039 manufacturing companies that are in need of transport services.
- What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem? We will transport goods/freight/materials using commercial vehicles such as transit vans, box trucks and freight liners. We help solve the problem of shortages to consumers.
- Why are you seeking funding and how will you spend the funding? I am seeking startup funding to cover the cost of my first commercial vehicle and insurance which will allow my company to begin generating income and open up the door to employee my first driver.
- Who is on your team? I am a team of one, for now. I have an expansion plan in place to grow my team over the next 12 months to 5 additional people.

Are you a startup? Yes I am a startup, however I have legally established my business in the state of TX and have been actively establishing my business presence online. Additionally, I have completed several courses related to my business such as dispatching and small business ownership.
Why are you crowdfunding? I am a single, divorced mom of two. This business is a part of an exit strategy from corporate America to allow me the opportunity to focus on the growth and development of my daughters while also creating opportunity in my community for other women. I don't have the discretionary income to completely fund this business but want to move forward quickly with executing to ensure I can be more impactful in the current state of the world.
