Project Description

Who We Are

Blissful Circuit Wellness is a next-generation, trauma-informed, caregiver-inclusive EAP (Employee Assistance Program) designed specifically for modern employees and small to mid-size organizations.

We’re the first of our kind—neuroscience-backed, results-driven, and built for the next-generation workforce

What is an EAP, and what makes Blissful Circuit Wellness different?

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a workplace benefit that offers employees free and confidential support for personal, family, or work-related issues.

Most traditional EAPs are outdated, underutilized (4-10% usage), and often feel impersonal, clinical, or disconnected from real employee needs.

Unlike other EAPs, Blissful Circuit Wellness connects employees with real-life resources like childcare services, caregiver support, free local and state social services, help you find ways to move beyond paycheck-to-paycheck, and holistic wellness (mental health, nutrition, parenting, and emotional resilience coaching).

Blissful Circuit Wellness also provides workshops, training, and research-backed neuroscience articles to help you and your staff improve your mental wellness at work.

Founded by Elise Tuck, a 15-year HR professional, executive leader, and expert in workplace wellness, our Mission at Blissful Circuit Wellness is clear:

To provide holistic employee and caregiver-centered wellness solutions that foster mental health, emotional resilience, and social support for thriving workplaces and communities.

The Problem (Why We Exist)

Mental Illness is a rising issue in the United States.

  • 90% of U.S. workers reported at least minor levels of one mental health challenge.

  • 50% of U.S. workers report moderate to severe levels of burnout, depression, or anxiety.

  • 60% of U.S. adults are living paycheck-to-paycheck - 45% of those earning $100,000+ per year & 72% of those earning less than $50,000 per year

  • 43 million borrowers owe $1.6 trillion in student loan debt

  • 60% of U.S. parents report struggling to find affordable or quality child care

  • Absenteeism: Depression alone causes an average of 27 lost work days per year; employed caregivers miss 6.6 workdays per year; child-related absences average 4-9 days per year

And yet...
  • Only 4-10% of employees use their designated EAP service (this is due to stigma & accessibility)

  • 78% of employees desire mental health services that include family support

  • 60% of small businesses lack a dedicated EAP

The Campaign FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. What is an EAP, and what makes A Blissful Circuit different from other EAPs?

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a workplace benefit that offers employees free and confidential support for personal, family, or work-related issues. This typically includes short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to external services.

But here’s the problem:
Most traditional EAPs are outdated, underutilized (only 4–10% usage), and often feel impersonal, clinical, or disconnected from real employee needs.

2. What Makes Blissful Circuit Wellness Different?

Blissful Circuit Wellness is a next-generation, trauma-informed, family-inclusive EAP designed specifically for modern employees and small to mid-sized organizations.

🔹 Key Differentiators:

  • Family-First Support: We extend care to spouses, partners, and children — because stress doesn’t stop at the office door.
  • Culturally Competent Providers: Our diverse network reflects the communities we serve, creating safer, more relatable spaces for healing.
  • Trauma-Informed Approach: We specialize in addressing chronic stress, grief, burnout, and crisis — not just surface-level work concerns.
  • Holistic Wellness: Support includes mental health, nutrition, parenting, and emotional resilience coaching.
  • High-Touch, Human-Centered: Real people, real care — not 1-800 numbers or chatbots.
  • HR-Aligned Tools: We provide organizations with anonymous usage insights, manager support, and custom wellness training.

In Short: We’re not a hotline. We’re a trusted partner in emotional wellness, built to help people stay well — not just get treated when they’re unwell.

3. What’s the cost/benefit analysis of a company hiring us – how does the company benefit from this service?

Cost (typical): $8-12/month per employee
Benefit:

  • 3x ROI average on EAPs
  • Reduced absenteeism and presenteeism (saves ~$1,685 per employee annually)
  • 50% drop in turnover-related costs when emotional well-being improves
  • Decreased healthcare claims from untreated stress and burnout

Summary: For ~$120/year per employee, companies save $1,500–$2,000+ per employee annually.

4. Why not just use employer health insurance? How is ABC EAP different?

Health insurance = reactive, clinical care (diagnosis + billing)
ABC EAP = proactive, confidential support with:

  • No co-pays, waitlists, or deductibles
  • Family-inclusive services (not covered by most health plans)
  • Trauma-informed and work-specific care
  • Manager coaching and team-wide training (not covered by insurance)

Key Difference: Insurance supports individual health after a breakdown. ABC prevents breakdowns entirely.

5. Who is providing services? Are they licensed?

Yes. All providers are:

  • Licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs)
  • Licensed professional counselors (LPCs)
  • Family therapists (LMFTs)
  • Registered dietitians (RDNs) for wellness and stress-related nutrition

Employment Model:

  • Mostly part-time 1099 contractors (initial phase)
  • Full-time roles as demand increases
  • Managed under a credentialed clinical director & program manager

6. What are the usual costs of these professionals?

Typical hourly contractor rates (U.S. averages):

LCSW/LMFT: $50–$85/hr

LPC/therapists: $45–$75/hr

Nutritionist: $40–$60/hr

Group sessions/workshops: $150–$300/session

Costs are covered by subscription fees and usage caps per client contract.

7. Will services be in-house or telehealth?

Hybrid model:

  • Primary delivery: Secure telehealth portal (HIPAA-compliant)
  • Optional: In-person days or on-site workshops if desired by the employer (for an additional fee)

Cost difference:

  • Telehealth reduces overhead by 40–50%
  • In-person care is premium-priced and billed separately

8. How do we prove this reduces turnover?

We show:

  • Benchmark data: Companies with strong EAPs have up to 50% lower turnover
  • Anonymous usage reports showing employee engagement
  • Pre/post surveys showing emotional resilience, burnout scores, and satisfaction
  • Case studies + testimonials (from pilot clients)

9. What’s the cost of replacing an employee vs EAP?

  • Average turnover cost: $4,700–$15,000 per employee (source: SHRM)
  • Cost of ABC EAP: $96–$144 per employee/year
  • Retention of just one employee = ROI of 10x+

10. How do we ensure confidentiality (so it’s not “HR therapy”)?

  • Encrypted, HIPAA-compliant platform
  • No session notes shared with employer
  • Voluntary, third-party scheduling systems
  • Providers NOT employed by client company
  • Explicit confidentiality agreements + marketing materials stating this
