What is The VDOM?
The VDOM is two parts. The first is a prosthetic penis that can change from a flaccid to erect state and the second is the revolutionary mobile application that accompanies the prosthetic. The VDOM was created to bring added sexual wellness and pleasure to persons with certain anatomical restrictions.
How does The VDOM work?
The VDOM is two-components that work as one unit; the prosthetic piece and the mobile-app that accompanies the prosthetic. With a quick swipe or touch, the mobile app can bring the prosthetic piece from flaccid to erect in less than 6 seconds. The mobile app also includes sharing features such as:
- The ability to add partners who can in-turn control the prosthetic
- Send "Ready to Play" notifications to a partner or multiple partners
- Control blackout time where the device will be in a non-controllable state - because after all, no one wants an accidental boner while giving their best presentation at work, right?
- Battery status indicator to inform the primary user of charge amount and charging state

Why we created The VDOM

Intimacy and sex are very important components of a healthy lifestyle. Even with surges in sex tech innovation, the sex-tech industry fails to address the challenges faced by many of those within marginalized communities. The VDOM is an answer to those challenges.
The VDOM was created to bring greater comfort, pleasure, and confidence to people who experience certain anatomical restrictions during intimacy. Lesbians, paraplegics, persons experiencing erectile dysfunction, and many more who enjoy sex are unable to simply because they are forced to use devices that are designed for orgasm alone. The VDOM is designed for entire lifestyles.

Why we're raising money
Although most sex tech innovations are designed for women, female-led sex tech companies have a much harder time getting off the ground. The overwhelming prevalence of males in the tech industry coupled with the stigmas attached to lesbian sex, transmen, and those who suffer from gender dysphoria or body dysmorphia make it even more difficult. Your contribution will help us secure a solid initial launch of The VDOM and show investors that there is a need and a desire for The VDOM.
Where is the money going?
So far in our venture, The VDOM's primary funding has been bootstrapped. These funds have been dedicated to the research and development of The VDOM. The money raised in this crowdfunding campaign will go toward expenses incurred when meeting regulation testing requirements, marketing, and manufacturing.
