Hello, We're VAVVOUNE! 

Vavvoune is a bag and accessories brand based in New York City. Birthed through self-exploration and curiosity, We design and produce passionately made products intended to offset negative narratives on leather. 

Keeping our design codes in mind, We use high-quality leathers left over by ultra-luxury brands and recycle them back into fashion. Introducing a fresh perspective on leather and giving our customers a safe space to reconsider their relationship with it.

| OUR APPROACH |

 We favor leather over synthetic materials, or what the industry markets as “vegan leather." However, it is a product we no longer want to waste or add to the dysfunction of the environment. With that, it's why we work directly with a leather distributor in Italy that carries unwanted, high-quality leathers abandoned by famous luxury brands. These leathers are leftover for many reasons. Overproduction, off-season colorways, weight or size deficiency, or just small defects. Because let's not forget, that leather Is a byproduct.

Our customers are art-inclined and clever shoppers. Personal style is important to them, and thoughtful designs boost their confidence. They live progressively and prioritize sustainability and quality in their purchasing decisions. They explore products' origins and sustainable attributes, favoring brands with transparent supply chains . They actively endorse brands that tackle fashion industry waste and offer innovative solutions, while also valuing diversity and authenticity in brand stories and founders.

For three years one of our pieces, The Ursa Wallet, has been out of stock. Despite its unexpected popularity among our unisex-centered customers. Our goal is to scale on this opportunity by reintroducing the Ursa Wallet into our product lineup and targeting a broader unisex demographic as part of our core customer base. However, switching manufacturers has posed challenges in restocking the product at its original price point and quality. Fortunately, we have recently secured a manufacturer in South Korea!

  This use of funds will enable us to successfully reintroduce the Ursa Wallet, expand our customer base, and sustain our business operations effectively to our capacity.
