Hello good folk!
What can we say but THANK YOU from the bottom of our SWDY hearts for your contributions and support! We are thrilled and floored at your generosity. As we wind down to the last TWO DAYS of this campaign, we have adjusted the goal amount and wanted to explain that here. In response to your generosity, we have reduced our goal amount by just under $30,000.00, and here is why:
First, our new Poles and pole room floors were donated outright, resulting in reduction of $19,000.00 to our goal amount. The materials costs came to roughly $16,000, plus labor. The full expense was donated by three extremely generous and impossibly humble donors who requested they remain anonymous. THANK YOU BEAUTIFUL SOULS YOU!
Second, as a result of the noise made by this campaign, we had our local repair guy come up with a solution to fix our front door that resulted in a $2,700.00 savings. Additionally, Junior donated about $500.00 of his labor to repairing the door. This resulted in an additional reduction of $3200.00 to our goal amount.
And finally, as a result of an increase in monetary contributions (straight donations with no reward), some of which were also donated outside of the campaign, and the impact on our cost of goods sold, we have reduced our goal by another $6,600.00.
That is a total value of $28,800.00 that we no longer need to raise, IN ADDITION to the almost $35,000.00 you have helped us raise! People that is INSANE! Look at the power of community to prioritize wellness and self care! To support its own! Yaassss to us!
Alright folks, we still have a little ways to go. As of this writing we are 66% funded. Is there anyone you know that is looking for Unlimited Pole in our gorgeous room, or that maybe can use a 10 day trip to Peru? Maybe they need a year of yoga. Please please PLEASE share with your friends and family. Help us end 2019 and this decade with a huge BANG!
