The sauna arrived in mid-September and it's been a whirlwind since. It was logo'd by brilliant art by Netta Radice Designs in Florida. Netta is a former national team paddler that I worked with on a couple of World Championship cycles and we collaborated on Team USA jerseys and podium wear. She graciously donated all her time to make my branding uniquely me.
Two days after getting the logos, we were off to our first event. Appropriately, a women's ten-mile run focused on raising awareness and funds to create more opportunities for women in business.
I've had my first private rental and have three more in the books, along with a collaboration with a woman-owned fitness studio!
The "buffs" finally arrived on Monday and I will be chipping away at thank-you notes and gifts in the mail this week.
I thought it was so much work to get to this point but there is much work ahead. It is good work! And weekly I am surprised by an impromptu connection where the sauna comes into the conversation... and I know that I am on the right path.
Cheers to all of you for your kindness and bold support. I think about it every time I start a fire in the wood stove.
