Dear Reader,
I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Stephanie Fjetland and I am the owner of Four Letter Names Productions in Austin, TX. The recent disasters in our area over the last three years have left myself and company without means to secure adequate small business start up funding or a local professional network for social or community support.
I have sought traditional business loans, credit lines, and real estate options from several lenders and sources since I registered my company two years ago. While there have been many federal options for assistance during the COVID-19 Pandemic, FOUR LETTER NAMES PRODUCTIONS has not qualified due to lack of longevity as an entity, my personal credit score in lue of business credit, or meeting varying minimum monthly sales revenue.
My professional background is made up of low income case management, non profit community action planning, family sufficiency development, medical, and inpatient clinical social work as a social scientist rather than marketer. While that makes me the perfect person to develop new individual and professional development tools, continuing education content, and consult on issues related to human service delivery system repair it does not leave me to be the best at raising the $80,000.00 it will take to complete a sustainable launch and relocation by myself in the time I have left to complete a sustainable launch and relocation.
I have decided that offering a commision to promoters is my best option in reaching my sixty day goals. My research has led to me an awareness of crowdfunding as a legitimate method of acquiring the funds I need in order to meet the criteria required by traditional lenders, investors, or landlords and property managers. At Four Letter Names Productions we value transparency and best practices by professionals.
It is my understanding that paying promoters for fundraising can be considered unethical or manipulative to donors who are used to traditional markets or funding established non profit entities. While the mission of my company is socially progressive with future non profit intentions, it is in the name of transparency that I feel it is important to disclaim that Four Letter Names Productions is currently a “for-profit” sole proprietorship that was registered in Travis County Texas June 2019.
Goals for the crowdfunding campagne have been increased to $100,000.00 in order to accommodate the offer of 10% commission to fundraisers. Any person that is interested in promoting links with premade content in order to raise awareness, traffic, and funds will be offered the opportunity to apply and register a custom #hashtag for their donors to reference in the comments section of their donation and receive payment for 10% of funds raised during the sixty day campagne.

There is no documentation required for the first $599.00 earned. Promoters raising more than $5,999.00 will be required to submit a W9 and appropriate supporting documents to receive an IRS form 1099-NEC.
Applicants with a completed W9 are not limited to the amount they can raise. Records will be tracked in the public comments on each platform and the company website to encourage transparency and accountability on behalf of FOUR LETTER NAMES PRODUCTIONS, promoters, and donors.
Applicants will need a working email address to register an account on our website and create a username that will be used as your identifying #hashtag. Promoters must also have a working paypal or venmo account in order to receive payment after the closure of the campaign in September 2021.
