It’s been a little over two weeks since we ended the campaign and we wanted to circle back with each of you to say THANK YOU.
This was an incredible feat that we would not have accomplished without each and everyone of you. Your support was critical to the success of the campaign which we reached above and beyond our original goal and ran closer to our stretch goal of 120k. This amount allows us a lot more comfort in making critical decisions on staffing and where and how to invest for Brown Girls Climb to run sustainably in the future.
Brown Girls Climb is a grassroots organization that quickly transformed into a much larger operation and we needed this initial support to implement the changes required to meet the demands we have and compensate the folks that will lead this change.
We will be reaching out to each of our support levels by emails with updates on the benefits you are receiving but hope that you will stay engaged with Brown Girls Climb, the work we are doing, and the BGC Marketplace we plan to launch soon with this added support.
We know the impact we can make as a community. We’ve seen it time and time again and this campaign was a great example of that. We hope we can continue to create impact in the climbing and outdoors through our services and ask each of you to hold us accountable to that effort by staying engaged and involved with us along the way.
