New Website, New Office

First I want to say thank you to all of our newest funders.  Thank you for supporting this endeavor and putting your faith in me as an entrepreneur.  It has been a long entrepreneurship journey. I started Artivism Community Art over ten years ago initially as a vehicle through which to sell the art that I created and help other artists in my community in Houston, Texas. I have changed a lot since then and with me  the company. Today Artivism is a production company that creates K-12 resources that teach Afrocentric philosophy through art. In our mission to help every community create its own system of learning we developed the Art Box. This came only after three years of community engagement. I asked the Houston community what they want from their education and the answers I received helped me create The Art Box. This information is now history.

So let's talk about today. Artivism Community Art finally has a new office space, located at 405 Main St. in Houston, TX.  Additionally, the website artivismcommunityart.com has been redesigned to better suit the way the company has changed. We have restructured to better serve you. This means the office space will allow us to process the orders for the Art Box in a more efficient way, organize information, and create content that reflects the community's needs.

What does this mean for you? It means that the Art Box sample is delayed until August 2021. I know it is a show of faith to wait for the Art Box Sample. I will honor this faith you have put in me with a gift just in time for August. I look forward to the upcoming month!!
