We're now meeting bi-weekly with our friends in Kenya to gather info on the site specifications, determine limitation/constraints and begin designing our farming solution. We're aiming to host our Apprenticeship in March or April as that would be the ideal season before it gets rainy or cold.
We've gotten preliminary quotes for our water and solar power systems which we will finalize and begin the development of at the school sites in the coming weeks so that there is power and water access at the site before we arrive. Depending on the final farm design, there is a strong likelihood that the solar power we are installing will help provide the school with supplement and more consistent power than the grid, which currently experiences outages frequently.
