"From the first time I took a ‘fitness class’ almost 15 years ago, I have wanted to be a movement facilitator. Being in a bigger Black body, I did not look like the ones instructing me, so I strived to change my body and make it look like others. This striving led to resentment of my body, not knowing how strong I was and equipped to guide others. GOODBODYFEEL was the first time I saw movement facilitators like me, holding space for others in their journeys of reconnecting with their bodies. This gave me the courage to step into me and showed me the importance of having movement facilitators who represent the diversity that is in the world we live in."

“GOODBODYFEEL allows me to feel safe and comfortable to show up as myself. This has been extremely valuable to me, especially through the racial tension and trauma of 2020. Robin has done an amazing job of holding space for everyone to see themselves reflected in the movement industry, regardless of race, gender or sexual identity, ability, socioeconomic background etc. By providing such diverse representation in all elements of the team, the studio has empowered me to step into not only an embodied movement practice; I have also stepped into a higher belief of my potential”
