Eliza is a writer-director and designer originally from Vancouver, Canada.
She has crafted commercials and music videos for clients such as VICE, Dove, Ninja Tune, and Arts & Crafts Records. Eliza is a graduate of Simon Fraser University’s school of communications and UCLA’s directing program.
Her filmmaking approach thoughtfully balances style with substance, fusing distinctly dreamy and atmospheric visuals with emotive, nuanced performances and compelling storytelling. Drawing from her interdisciplinary background, her work tends to confront societal issues and cultural phenomena, often in terms of their impact on women.
