I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying our emergence from lockdown. But even as the lockdown eases, special needs families are still dealing with the fallout from the financial and social/emotional consequences of the pandemic.
That being said, we are thrilled to let you all know that we had a pretty productive weekend over here. We were able to sell a ton of things at our garage sale and raised $500 for SPiN!! Not only that, but I also had the pleasure of meeting (completely by chance) one of the original ambassadors for Autism Speaks, who happens to live around the corner, and wants to be involved in some way with Indie Living. Coincidence? You decide.
