There's No Place Like Home

First, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone for contributing to my fundraiser! I am bowled over and feeling truly valued and appreciated.  But now we are all living a dystopian Twilight Zone episode in which our world has stopped. The streets are empty (as are the toilet paper shelves) and so many other people are wondering where their next paycheck is coming from and will they have enough to feed their kids. Suddenly, stocking up on boxes of Duncan Hines cake mix for a dollar each at the local Walmart seems like a wise economic decision...

In the meantime, I have moved most of my studio back home so I can work here since my son will be home from school (like, forever...). I am focused on getting my new website online and reopening my store when we will all finally be able to go out into the world and shake hands again.

No doubt we all have a lot of time to ponder the existential meaning of what is happening to us all, but as Edie Brickell says, "Don't let me get too deep".

So read those books, write that novel, sew those masks,  and eat that cake! (no, not the cake, at least not until the gyms reopen;-)

Live Long and Prosper,

Marghi Barnes
