In my last update I told you about a life story interview I conducted with 82-year-old Max Junge. This was an interview conducted via Zoom to test out Life Stories for the Ages as a virtual service, since so many older adults are quarantined and can't be interviewed in person. In the end I wasn't thrilled with the quality of the video, but the audio was good - and Max's story was riveting. SO...
...I stripped out the audio from the interview, strung together some choice excerpts and created a sample video to show how we will be delivering this service until the pandemic is a thing of the past.
These powerful life stories will now be delivered in two ways: (1) as audio-only biographies; and (2) audio bios augmented with visuals such as old photos, letters or home movies.
