Project Description
- Mission is to help reduce hunger and poverty especially for single mothers.
- As a single mother of 3 living in Africa , a lot of times, women are abused and thrown out of their matrimonial homes without jobs or any financial support.
- Also a lot of women suffer in abusive relationships because they have no skills and cannot make a livelihood for their kids.
- Nigeria is a nation of 200million people with 2/3 women
- We currently train and employ 120 people directly and 150 indirectly with 70% single mothers
- More and more single and abused mothers visit our centre seeking to acquire any kind of skill because it's a garment factory, we need to expand our training centre and also provide more shelter like dormitory because some of them are homeless
