Project Goals and Objectives:
Goal 1: Enhance the educational programs offered at Tootie’s Tots Childcare Center.
- Objective 1.1: Develop and implement a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) curriculum for all age groups.
- Objective 1.2: Provide additional educational resources, including books, learning materials, and technology, to support the new curriculum.
Goal 2: Improve the facilities to create a more stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Objective 2.1: Renovate the outdoor play area to include age-appropriate playground equipment and a sensory garden.
- Objective 2.2: Upgrade classroom furniture and fixtures to ensure a comfortable and conducive learning environment.
Goal 3: Invest in professional development for staff to ensure high-quality education and care.
- Objective 3.1: Provide ongoing training for staff in early childhood education best practices and cultural competency.
- Objective 3.2: Offer scholarships for staff to pursue further education and certifications in early childhood education.
