Project Description
Vanish Tattoo Removal, Inc. was incorporated in 2017. Our mission is to provide amazing laser tattoo removal in a relaxed environment. Unpretentious, our technicians have their own tattoos they love, and tattoos they've removed.
For many people, tattoos create a barrier between themselves and their goals. They get in they way of employment opportunities, can fuel a negative self-image, and serve as reminders of things best left in the past.
Unique to our area, Vanish Tattoo Removal serves a 60+ mile radius in central Pennsylvania. 1 in 4 people with tattoos have one they regret.
A woman-owned small business, Vanish is dually owned by Meredith and Kelly. They are both certified laser technicians. Meredith is also a licensed esthetician, and Kelly holds a bachelors degree in Marketing.
This COVID-19 pandemic has required the shutdown of Vanish since March 19th, 2020. Currently, the green phase is still unknown and Vanish has been able to squeek by on their savings and a small EIDL grant. To stay in business, Vanish needs help covering fixed overhead costs of approximately $2500/month. This includes rent, insurance, utilities, and just a bit of marketing to keep them ready to serve clients when the shutdown is lifted.
As a small business, we were still not able to access a large portion of federal funds. Every dollar donated helps us ensure our doors open (in June, July??) and our clients are eagerly awaiting their turn to remove their tattoos and continue moving forward in their lives. Now, we are asking YOU for help. Vanish believes the past is not your future. Will you help us?

- If it weren't for COVID-19, we would be happily removing tattoos rather than asking for help.
- Do you provide services other than tattoo removal?
- Yes. We also supplement our income with some aesthetic services like laser facials.
- Are you a for profit business?
- Yes. We opened in 2017 and hope to stay open!
