Three educational organizations lead by Black women has come together to empower and educate the community about the history on our language. All donations will go towards our individual mission.
The donations will go towards the following:
- SLP Empowered: Literacy Box
- The Collabo: Sankofa Scholarship Fund
- Bck 2 Skool: Job Readiness Program

What is Talkin' Blk?
-Talkin' Blk is a virtual screening of the documentary "Talking Black In America." Together we will examine the history of African American vernacular English and the ways it has been cultivated and how it enriches us as a community.
Are Donations Required?
-No, they will be happily be accepted. As all of the involved organization mission support the liberation of Blacks in America.
What are the involved organization's missions?
-SLP Empowered: SLP Empowered Inc. is a grass roots organization that works to educate communities about language and communication disorders and empower families through education, resources and advocacy services.
-The Collabo: The Black Educators Collaborative aka The Collabo is a collective of Black Educators that encompass every aspect of the profession. We are a collective who believe that knowledge is the key to liberation.
-Bck 2 Skool: Equipping families and teachers with proper social-emotional tools to support students development.

Panel discussion: 7:30-8:30 pm
