The mission at www.laporchiadavis.com is to be a size-inclusive brand that integrates high-quality sustainable fabric blends for comfy and convenient everyday leisure. In addition, provide a hypoallergenic accessories experience.

The loungewear and accessories industry is a high dollar industry.  Therefore the demand is increasing  which leads to fast fashion, low quality, and wasteful material. Currently, there is a lack of sustainable loungewear brands made by African American women in the market that is size inclusive. 

My market audience caters to women who love the feel of luxurious fabrics when lounging around and also when they are actively running errands on the go.  Inclusivity and making sustainable items is LAPORCHIA DAVIS.com priority while providing chic and comfortable styles that not only fits but also flatters their specific body type. 

LAPORCHIA DAVIS.com is an online sustainable and accessories company that offers low-shrinkage sustainable loungewear ranging from cotton to bamboo textiles and handcrafted earrings. Customers will be able to find items from a size small to 5XL. Being able to make someone feel good and look good in sustainable fashions is why my brand is here to make a difference within the industry. 

Funding will be used to boost brand visibility by investing in marketing and user generated content for my sustainable and inclusive brand. Currently, my loungewear and accessories items have been sold in over 12 states with an 80% returning customer rate and a $60+ order value. In addition, funding will allow me to hire extra help to getting shipping and packaging out to customers in a faster timeframe. Funding will be used for purchasing of inventory to expand my loungewear/ accessories collection due to customer demand and requests. Lastly, I would like to hire models of various body types/sizes to show what a specific item would look like on their ideal body type.

Currently, I'm a one woman show. I complete every task within my business. This crowdfunding will allow me to hire new employees or interns to the covering day-to-day activities within the brand.
