meraki [may-rah-kee] (adjective) This is a word that modern Greeks often use to describe doing something with soul, creativity, or love - when you put "something of yourself" into what you're doing, whatever it may be. 

THE PROBLEM (for our audience)

If you're an entrepreneur or a content creator then you know how difficult it is to get so wrapped up in the journey of creating your brand that you forget to take care of yourself first. Our planner helps to eliminate the idea of  "hustle culture",  and instead infuses more mindful acts of self-care - giving entrepreneurs and creators the tools needed to be physically and mentally fit to build a brand/company.

THE PROBLEM (for our brand)

Creating planners is expensive.

The quotes we're receiving from vendors are fair, but range in the thousands of dollars for 300-500 planners.

It is a lot of upfront cost for a small business to absorb without knowing the ROI, but we know how high the demand is for a productivity planner like ours and feel confident that it will succeed.

THE SOLUTION

The meraki Always Pour Into You Productivity Planner serves as an all-in-one planner for creatives and entrepreneurs combining mindfulness with productivity.

​​​​​After quitting my 9-5 job in July of 2020 to become my own boss and having to face a breakup all at the same time, I spent a few months learning how to heal as I poured into myself and my work. I learned the power of mindfulness and created healthy habits that included daily journaling, meditation, acts of gratitude, and fueling my body.

During this time, I ended up filling the pages of over six journals within a 6 months timeframe. I found that I often had to toggle between 2-3 different journals/planners because I couldn't find one that had all of the features I needed. 

It was at that point when I decided to create meraki - a brand whose mission embodied my entire process of what it truly feels like to give your soul, creativity, and love into yourself and your craft.

OUR GOALS

To help entrepreneurs and content creators...

• Slow down, and focus on their mental health and well-being so that they can truly thrive in their business.
• Organize their goals, encouraging them to dream big.
• Shift the way they view productivity and remember that taking care of yourself is productive.

As well as drive the conversation of mental health, showing the importance of cultivating a healthy mindset and taking care of yourself first before fully pouring yourself into your work.

THE TIMELINE

• September: To finalize journal pages for design and prepare for production. We would also like to finalize packaging during this time as well. We plan to launch our beta program for members to test products before the official launch.
• October: To host our brand photoshoot in preparation for the official website launch. During this time we would also like to solidify our influencer campaign to spread awareness of the official launch.
• November: To officially launch the brand and make the planner available for pre-sale. 
• December: Planners to begin to ship.

THE MAJOR COSTS

• $3,000: Printing cost for 300-500 planners
• $3,000: To cover the cost of packaging, completion of our website, and admin tools needed to get the business off to a good start.
• $2,500: Marketing and advertising. Also funding the influencer campaign and brand photoshoot.
• $1,500: Printing cost for our limited edition loungewear set to celebrate our launch.
