Support The Highlands Cafe+Play!

Red Wing and the surrounding areas are desperately in need of a place for children and families to connect, play and learn in a safe and inviting environment.

Our goal is to become a pillar in the parenting community in Red Wing and the surrounding areas as a destination for interaction of parents and children. We aim to meet the needs of local parents and children by openly welcoming suggestions and feedback at every opportunity, gaining a loyal and engaged following in the process.

Our main marketing focus will be towards parents of young children and those expecting. These parents ideally are spending their time during the day at home with their kids, whether that is as full time caregiver or working out of the home. These parents have an interest in Montessori/Waldorf principles and also enjoy staying up to date with the social happenings of parenthood. Our secondary market would be older kids and grandparents that act as caregivers as well.

The Highlands will be a unique combination of an “insta-worthy” cafe and a state-of-the-art educational play space for children. There are no play areas around that are available for open play and also open during non-typical business hours. We will offer classes that are not available for young kids, both in terms of what is offered and the price surrounding it.

Any funds that we receive will allow us to provide the most opportunities in our space and expand on what we already plan to offer to be the best available. These funds will also allow us to hire staff that are the best in their field to help us provide the best opportunities for our community.

Hello! We are the Kelly/Snyders. Brianna is taking the reigns as a Red Wing native and RWHS graduate, while Chip and Rozie will be fulltime space and product testers.

To everyone backing us and considering backing us, thank you! This isn't an easy feat and we appreciate every ounce of support to give us the potential to do everything that we hope to. We are thankful you are willing to become a part of this journey with us and we can't wait to open up and welcome you. We are very far into this process and have only been hung up on funds, as soon as they are more securely in play, we will be running at full speed!
