Hi, I’m Toni Ivory — a 22-year-old multidisciplinary artist, designer, and rising senior at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I founded Sacral Alchemy in 2021 as part of my healing journey after being diagnosed with PTSD and depression. I turned to art, fashion, and spiritual practices as tools for restoration — and what began as personal healing evolved into a mission to help others do the same.

🌿 Mission

Sacral Alchemy is a creative wellness brand blending sustainable fashion, spiritual tools, and fiber arts to support mental, emotional, and spiritual restoration — especially for young Black women like me. Every product is handcrafted with intention and care, from zero-waste garments to crystal-infused journals and chakra-aligned jewelry.

💔 The Problem

Fast fashion is harming our planet — and many slow fashion brands are priced out of reach for people who care deeply about sustainability. At the same time, there’s a growing mental health crisis, especially in underserved communities, where art and healing tools are needed most. People are craving connection, alignment, and authentic self-expression — but don’t always have access to supportive, meaningful products.

Sacral Alchemy creates affordable, sustainable fashion and spiritual tools that honor the Earth and uplift the spirit. Using upcycled, recycled, and handmade materials, I design one-of-a-kind creations that are accessible and deeply personal. My goal is to make healing and self-expression possible for people who are often overlooked by mainstream markets.

📊 Market Opportunity

Black women ages 18–35 spend over $6 billion annually on wellness and sustainable fashion — yet we remain underrepresented in the brands that claim to serve us. The global wellness market is projected to reach $8.5 trillion by 2027, and sustainable fashion is expected to hit $39.7 billion by 2031. There is room — and demand — for businesses like mine that serve this audience with authenticity, care, and cultural alignment.

I graduate next May and my dream is to grow Sacral Alchemy into a full-time business that can support me financially and serve my community spiritually. Your support will help me:
