Project Description
- The mission of Urban Girl Magazine is to project positive images of black women through the medium of digital and print media.
- The problem that we are solving by existing is combating the negative depiction of women of color that currently exist in the media by being the opposite.
- The market is open for the debut of a new voice that represents women of color.
- My media company creates and distributes content that speaks directly to urban women of color in a positive and uplifting way.
- The Urban Girl Magazine brand is seeking funding for the launch of our pint campaign in 2023, to pay our writers/contributors, and to purchase updated equipment.
- Who is on your team?- I have an amazing team of multicultural women from a range of backgrounds and cities.
