Supper Club Dance Summer 2025
Supper Club Dance will host its summer 2025 event at Xposed on the High Line in collaboration with Chef Harry Deutsch.

Project Description
Supper Club Dance aims to pair fine food with original movement.
But what does this mean in practice?
SCD charges chefs with creating a five-course tasting menu that is inspired by four pieces of original choreography, allowing guests to 'ingest the choreography'. This results in an evening of dance, food, wine, and community building. By viewing food as an art in it of itself and as a source of choreographic inspiration, SCD forms rich connections between culinary and performing artists. SCD typically invites audiences of about 30 people to take part in this culinary and choreographic pairing, ensuring that the experience is personal and intimate for guests. For our event this summer, we are grateful to collaborate with Chef Harry Deutsch of Carbone, as well as some exciting soon-to-be-announced choreographers.
Meet the team
Supper Club Dance was founded by Kendall Bottjer in January of 2023 to blend her passions for choreography and food anthropology while at Barnard College. Kendall has presented her own choreography through choreographic showcases at Uptown Rising, Columbia Ballet Collaborative, and more. Kendall currently works at The Juilliard School as a part of their Creative Enterprise team.
She is grateful to be joined by Hallie Moseley, Production Partner, whom she met while choreographing at Barnard. Hallie joined the Supper Club Dance team in the summer of 2023. Originally from Houston, TX, she currently works at IBM.
Our team has been steadily growing since then and is now grateful to work alongside Bryony Bowman, Artistic Assistant, and Gillian Kwok, Production Designer. Bryony recently graduated from the NOD International Contemporary Dance Program in Torino, Italy, while Gillian completed her work as set designer on the independent film Teenage Women.
Support
We need your support to bring our summer event to life. Your donation will directly fund essential elements of the show, including ingredients for our culinary creations, place settings, printed programs, and more. While Supper Club Dance generates some revenue from ticket sales, we depend on donations to fully support our choreographers, chefs, and their artistic vision.
