Project Description

A little backdrop: TWA School was founded in 2020, during the pandemic. We are structured to remain a small school with a family atmosphere to foster learning opportunities for gifted youth while also serving students in Harrisburg who are multiple grade levels behind. Since our humble beginnings with only 6 students, we have grown to 68 students as of this academic year. We have had our challenges but have made great progress and have had a notable impact on our students, their families, and community. Our student body is comprised 100% with students of color which makes our school unique in the area!

Current News: TWA has moved to a new building! Our studio rehab project in our new space is looking for support. We have secured a $22k grant, however it is a “reimbursement grant” meaning we need some capital to get the ball rolling on our renovation.

To begin, we want to tackle the electrical work while we are still on holiday break as our first project!
