Project Description
The Just Human Foundation is a volunteer-run, donation-based community organization founded by April Hinkle and Caitlin Flood in January of 2020.
The mission of Just Human Foundation is to build a community that collects, stores, and redistributes curated home goods donations to families transitioning out of homelessness and escaping domestic violence. By creating this community, we are able to support the families’ emotional well-being and housing stability and, ultimately, disrupt the cycle of family violence.
The good news is that the donations have been flowing in and we've been able to furnish apartments for families in need EVERY SINGLE MONTH! Unfortunately, the storage costs that are essential to our community collecting donations costs money. We currently have two storage units and are asking for your help in funding the rental of these units!
West New York, NJ 10' x 10' Unit: $85/month
Queens Village, NY 5' x 8' Unit: $95/month
