Project Description
Our mission is to improve kids’ access to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM). Nationwide, 1.7 million kids in homeschool, and over 500,000 public and private elementary classrooms need a versatile way to make standards-based Science hands-on regardless of how kids attend.
Did you know?...
- Elementary teachers across the country are working overtime to create engaging Science activities due to new standards and extremely high cost of formal curriculum's supplemental kits
- Homeschool families have limited options for affordable and quick ways to incorporate labs into Science
- Many students are doing almost NO Science in distance learning?
Science Anywhere was inspired by our own homeschooling experience and feedback from families and teachers (survey at www.steamstore.org). We couldn't find what we wanted so we're creating it - standards based lessons with hands-on heavy, simple, flexible, and affordable labs.
These kits are just the first phase for STEAM Zone, LLC. Funds will be used to purchase kit materials, equipment (e.g. printer), tools for creating tutorials as well as startup expenses and marketing for online and local sales.
