Spice Trade Roasters exists to tell the stories of cultures around the world through every cup we serve. Our mission is to foster meaningful connections by blending tradition with modern taste, offering a travel café experience that celebrates global heritage through handcrafted coffee, tea, and pastries. Each sip is an invitation to explore, connect, and honor the ancient flavors and histories that bring us together.

The Problem We're Solving

The café landscape is saturated with uniformity. Most coffee shops in the U.S. offer limited cultural variety and rarely reflect the global origins of coffee and tea traditions. In particular, communities lack access to thoughtfully crafted, international flavors that honor the heritage behind each cup. There is a lack of cultural storytelling and representation in our daily coffee experience.

Market Opportunity

The U.S. specialty coffee market exceeds $50 billion and continues to grow, with rising consumer interest in unique, culturally inspired, and ethically sourced experiences. About the Company & Our Solution

Spice Trade Roasters is a global mobile café that fuses international traditions into handcrafted beverages and pastries. Our menu features unique creations such as the Silk Road Chai (that combines recipes used in the Middle East, India, and Africa), Nigerian Zobo Tea (a blend of hibiscus, citrus, and spices), alongside culturally rooted pastries like Mandazi (similar to the popular, Beignet but with a twist) from East Africa.

Our mobile format allows us to show up where culture is needed most: underserved neighborhoods, festivals, farmers markets, and local business events—bringing the café to the people.

We solve the problem by not only offering drinks but delivering a curated cultural experience with each cup, bridging communities, educating palates, and honoring the roots of our ingredients.

Meet the Team

Spice Trade Roasters is founded and operated by a passionate woman entrepreneur (that’s me!), committed to global culinary exploration and inclusive wellness. I am currently a one-woman show, wearing every hat from barista to brand builder. Once fully operational, I will hire more baristas, prioritizing women and BIPOC talent, to grow our impact and deliver on our promise of connection and excellence.

My journey to launch this business is rooted in a lifelong love for hospitality and culture. I spent years working as a server, bartender, and manager in the food and beverage industry, where I fell in love with the power of service—how a simple drink or warm interaction could brighten someone’s day. But my passion for flavor started even earlier, in the kitchen with my dad, who taught me how to cook and introduced me to the world of spices. Those early memories of blending ingredients and telling stories over the stove stayed with me.

Years later, while traveling through East Africa, I explored new foods and drinks that opened my heart even more to the richness of global tradition—and I met my now husband, whose culture and warmth inspired me to dream bigger. Spice Trade Roasters is the result of these experiences: a mobile cart that honors global traditions, fosters connection, and invites people to sip something meaningful.

This coffee shop is built on the belief that love, connection, and culture should be shared by everyone, regardless of background, heritage, or walk of life. Just like coffee, which crosses borders and traditions, our goal is to bring people together through warmth, hospitality, and shared experiences. Washington State, known for its diversity, innovation, and strong coffee culture, is the perfect place to bring this vision to life. Being a part of an international family, highlights the beauty of blending cultures, finding common ground, and celebrating inclusion. This business will embody that spirit, creating a welcoming space where people from all backgrounds can gather, share stories, and feel at home, united by culture, coffee, and community.

We’re currently operating under a licensed commercial kitchen and will tailor each setup to your event’s needs. For larger bookings, we’ll bring on additional staff to ensure exceptional service and seamless setup.
