The SOulDIVINE Well

Hello, my name is Lauren Porchia and I am an SC native currently residing in Atlanta, GA. I am the owner of SOulDIVINE; a mobile holistic wellness brand that provides innovative wellness solutions to help people who are experiencing burnout and stress to relax.connect.elevate into the best version of themselves. I have experience 10+ years of experience serving individuals with disabilities, individual and group wellness services, and program management. SOulDIVINE was inspired by my own personal journey to well-being from feeling stressed, depressed, and extremely ill. 

I am launching a wellness break initiative and shipping container brick-and-mortar called The SOulDIVINE Well. This will be the space for workplace warriors to gather to take wellness breaks with the support of our innovative Wellness platform. Think about it as a team-building/wellness field trip for hardworking employees! There will be an array of wellness services to be experienced such as Yoga, Meditation, Hula Healing Fitness, Mindfulness activities, and more. The space will be designed to co-create the experience of feeling SOulDIVINE. 

This campaign is important because I know what it's like to experience stress and burnout at work.  I wish there were resources available in-house to allow me to take a short break to gather myself when I felt overwhelmed and overworked.  

My projections to take the vision of this experience from a thought to reality are approximately $100,000. It is desired for the shipping container model to be fully furnished and equipped with all of the components necessary for this experience. Here's what the funding will support: 3D floor plans and renderings of the shipping container and purchasing of land, TVs, Dark Room simulation space, hula-hoops, wireless noise-cancellation headphones, resting mats, payroll, contractors, yoga mats, journaling tools, and so much more!

The impact of The SOulDIVINE Well will change the world. This will be an innovative solution to help people to develop a healthy work-life balance. I know the importance of taking quick wellness breaks, In 2021, I launched a free initiative called the #hulahealdancechallenge.  This movement was dedicated to bringing smiles to faces and joy to the hearts of random people worldwide. The goal was to help lower stress and anxiety during the pandemic. We were successful in impacting over 1,500 people in several different U.S. cities. 

I am a visionary so this campaign will definitely need the support of qualified individuals to support on the business side of things! Some risk that could potentially happen is that this project may be more money to fund. However, I am willing to find a qualified team to ensure that funds are allocated appropriately.
