Pelican's SnoBalls Roswell is a New Orleans style shaved ice shop located in the Historic District of Roswell, Georgia (Atlanta suburb). We offer over 100 fabulous flavors and toppings, served on the fluffiest shaved ice you've ever had. Our soft serve and hand dipped ice creams are excellent! You can enjoy it on a cone, cup, as a sundae, or inside of our famous  Peliashake(™). Our flavor combinations are unlimitless!  Our Mission and goal is simple;  “Pelican's SnoBalls make people happy!”

Pelican's SnoBalls Roswell is more than a business, it’s a place where people may come for the snoballs, but they stay or come back for the experience. Instead of offering wifi, we encourage our patrons to put down their phones, grab their favorite snoball, and reconnect with family and friends. It’s like taking a step back in time, with games like; cornhole, tic-tac-toe, and connect 4. While their children are encouraged to draw on the sidewalks with the colorful chalk we provide, climb on the playset, or play in the sandbox with the Tonka trucks. At Pelican’s SnoBalls Roswell, we provide a place where cherished memories are created.

Our Market

The Atlanta Metro area is the 6th largest market and the fastest-growing region, according to the 2023 Bureau of Statistics. While there are hundreds of snow cone businesses in Atlanta, Pelican's SnoBalls franchisees are uniquely different. Our shaved ice closely resembles the fluffy, snow-like texture of New Orleans shaved ice. Thanks to our in-house ice manufacturing, we control the quality of the ice, thereby producing a finer, better-quality shaved ice and snoball.

Why we need your help and where your contributions will go.

Pelican's SnoBalls Roswell was founded by Karen Harris and Amber Banks in 2023. We bootstrapped this company with our personal funds, which have now run dry. Karen brings over 30 years of restaurant experience from KFC, and Amber is a seasoned Program and Project Manager. Together, we have the expertise and determination to make this business a success, but we need your help.

How will your contributions make a difference?

In 2024, as we entered our first full season of being open, the City of Roswell hired a third-party event planner to manage its events. This planner only allows food trucks and mobile vehicles to participate as vendors at city functions. To compete with vendors in our area and participate in City of Roswell events, we need a mobile vehicle. Our goal is to purchase a Ford 250 transit van with a high-top, have it wrapped with our logo, and equip it with the necessary tools and equipment to serve our SnoBalls on the go.

A mobile vehicle will:

• Make us more competitive.
• Expand our service area.
• Enable us to participate as a vendor at fairs, parks, catered events, and festivals within and beyond Roswell, Georgia.

Our Management Team:

• Amber Banks: Co-Owner, Program Manager, 12 years in Technology.
• Karen Harris: Co-Owner, 30+ years in Food Service Management with KFC.
• Jacinta Watkins: Team Lead, ServSafe Certified, 15 years in food services with KFC & Popeyes.
• Sheron Banks: Financial Services, 23 years and owner of Nelson Banks Financial.
