Founded in 2021, Skye Film Studios has since dedicated itself to creating content with a diverse slate showcasing authentic female voices.
Project Description
Sisters, Sahvannah Rae and Skye Bleu started Skye Film Studios in Septmeber 2022 after seeing a lack of female leadership and voice in the horror thriller of the film market. Since its inception the sisters they've gone on to create a niche of female directed thriller horror projects. Their most recent project Albatross went to win awards both nationally and internationally, winning Best Thriller at 8 & HalFilm Festival, Best Overall Project at the SFS Film Fest, and Best Thriller at the Frida Film Festival. All projects Skye Film Studios has been apart of have been written and directed by women. The mission of Skye Film Studios is to create quality content with a diverse slate showcasing authentic and original female voices.
Skye Film Studios latest project, Worked To Death, is in need of funds for the post production in order to premiere at the upcoming November Los Angeles Film Market.
The goal is to raise enough funds to hire professional personal to bring the rest of the story to life. Around $2,000 is needed for editing, $2,000 for sound design, $2,000 for color, $2,000 for VFX, and lastely $2,000 for original score.
