"Confident and informed women are more successful."
Skirt Club was founded in 2014 by Geneviève LeJeune, having attended “play parties” with a long-term boyfriend. She soon realised she was doing things for his pleasure, not her own. ‘Sexual empowerment is not about turning your boyfriend on with another girl’ she says. ‘It’s about doing what excites you’.
To share the benefits and empower women even more, we wish to continue investing in you and expand our membership across the globe to 100,000 members over the next 3 years. Providing more safe spaces for exploration, more frequently and in more cities. All in fabulous Skirt Club style, of course. Together we started a movement and have an exciting journey ahead of us, this is just the beginning.
OUR MISSION
In a world where it’s now socially acceptable to be gay or straight, there is little recognition for the grey area that sits between. Skirt Club’s mission is to build an exclusive all-female community for empowerment and sexual discovery. A network of professional women with a common interest.
Discovering your sexuality is a journey not often discussed, it can be scary, and riddled with daunting questions around identity and social acceptance. Women around the world constantly find themselves with no designated space where they can talk, learn from, celebrate and explore. On top of this women are often pressured into performing sexually for men and rarely put their own happiness first. We understand how awkward discussing sex & sexuality can be for women and offer them a shame-free space to express their true desires.
Skirt Club empowers women to talk—not whisper—about bisexuality as a movement.
WHAT WE OFFER
Skirt Club is a community space created by women, for women. It’s a space for self-exploration and play, and fills a gap addressed by no other community worldwide. We're building a dynamic and diverse community of women who inspire each other to live more empowered lives.
We are providing a safe space for women across the sexuality spectrum to find personal growth, empowerment and sexual discovery through different channels like events with female icons as guest speakers, our female driven blog and of course the network itself. In short, a network of successful women with a common interest.
Our parties provide a safe haven to live out female fantasies at your complete discretion. We also offer a tiered membership service on our website providing the chance for social networking, discounted event tickets and access to our exclusive online boutique.
In the future we also plan to offer members professional and private advice or business consultancy.
MEMBERSHIP
Skirt Club is for ladies only. It hosts a private members network for the curious kind; both intellectually and sexually. We exist to embolden women at a time when sexual fluidity is embraced.
Society is turning a page in modern-girl thinking of what “sexual attraction” can mean. Skirt Club encourages that freedom of expression, meaning members can explore safely within their comfort zone and be true to their own desires.
EVENTS
Designed by women, for women, Skirt Club basks in glamour; free-flowing champagne, exclusive burlesque performances, Shibari demonstrations, Victorian corset fittings … and so much more. All our guests share a desire to learn what it means to be a woman from the inside-out.
WHY CROWDFUNDING?
Building a self-funded network is hard, and we've achieved so much over the last five years. Skirt Club's power lies with our members and our community. We want our members to feel as much a part of the movement as we do. Until now Skirt Club has been funded by Genevieve herself, who was the first seed of many flowers to blossom and now it's time for growth.
We’ve partnered with iFundWomen, a female-only crowdfunding platform, to help get the job done. Funds secured through our crowdfunding campaign will be used to build our technology platform; a stable and secure home for our members.
We believe in the economic advancement and empowerment of women, another reason we chose the iFundWomen platform. Skirt Club is interested in likeminded investors who can help make our idea, space, and community bigger. We believe finding investors who share our values and believe in our vision are a core part of our future growth and success.
People are very wary about funding businesses to do with sex. We want women to fund women. We are in the market of human happiness and being comfortable with ourselves as sexual beings. Communicating better through sex makes the world a happier place. When women are connected they flow. Yes this is about sex, because women are entitled to enjoy it.

Our 2019 events schedule encompasses Europe, USA, Asia and Australia in the following cities:
Monthly in London, New York & San Francisco. Quarterly in Berlin, Vienna, Ibiza, Miami, Los Angeles, Sydney, Melbourne and Shanghai.
