- Skate Away Roller Rink is a state-of-the-art facility recreational offering recreational skating to our community, as well as catering to large and small group gatherings. The atmosphere will be friendly and open to everyone in the community. Skate Away Roller rink will have a concession is available to serve a wide of food choices. Party rooms will also be made available to accommodate large groups such as churches, civic organizations, schools, etc.
- What problem will Skate Away Roller Rink help solve and why should we fund your business?
- Skate Away Roller Rink is a family fun center that will bridge the gap between our local youth, families, the City of Culter Bay, and its neighboring communities. As Cutler Bay continues to grow, it is important that Skate Away Contributes to the growing economy by creating job opportunities for your youth, create a safe place and fun place for families, and coordinate events and activities that will unify us as a community.
- What is the market size/opportunity?
- The market area we intend to concentrate on is the southern Miami region. This includes Coral Gables, Pinecrest, Kendall, Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay, Homestead, and Florida City. This area has been growing rapidly for the past several years and should continue for the foreseeable future. Once the concept catches on locally, we feel the potential is unlimited. As we grow we will have the financial capacity to carry on an advertising campaign on a regional basis. The economy is in the midst of a particularly strong growth period. Many new jobs are being able added to the local community. An ever-increasing number of people are moving to his area. All of these factors are cause for a much greater interest in roller rinks.
- What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem?
- We will have the ability to create job opportunities, collaborate with local organizations to host community events(i.e. backpack giveaways, food drives, prom dress giveaways, sensory-friendly activities), birthday party packages, wedding packages, personalized t-shirts, concession stands, monthly themed events, game room, and so much more.
