Belle & Bottle is Wine on a Mission!
We curate wines from the best boutique producers; supporting family and female-led wineries and bring them direct to your door. The best part is each sip taken and glass shared supports our foundation to empower female entrepreneurs.
THE PROBLEM
Finding good wine is hard! Think about the last time you went to buy a wine to share with friends or serve at a special meal. Browsing rows and rows, and suddenly feeling uneducated? Did you end up choosing based on that cute label, or sigh and choose the same wine you always do because you were afraid to waste money on a bad choice?
To add flame to that fire, out of all of the rows at big box stores most are made in high production facilities. In fact, 60% of domestic wine is produced by 7 large corporations. At the other end of the scale are artisan winemakers who lack resources and distribution to have their wines represented on a national scale. To make matters worse, women running wineries and other small businesses are at further disadvantage when it comes to accessing funds and resources to scale to success. With the deck stacked against small producers, and store shelves stacked with rows of mass-produced bottles, most customers are left feeling overwhelmed by the quantity and underwhelmed by the quality.
THE SOLUTION
Belle & Bottle solves this by becoming your expert curator. Our team tastes through thousands of wines from boutique wineries to discover the gems; giving you access to wines that you won't find on most shelves. We help wineries get exposure directly to you, bypassing the outdated system that rewards large corporations and not family wineries. Laura Huston has been curating wines and building industry connections for the last 13 years which helped land Belle & Bottle on the list of ‘Top Clubs to Join Now’ by Food & Wine Magazine. As the driving force behind Belle & Bottle, she is a passionate advocate for empowering women. Through her company and non-profit foundation, she aspires to challenge the status quo and create change through community and shared love of food & wine. As Chairwoman of the Belle & Bottle Foundation (501c3), she leads a group of women who champion female entrepreneurs in businesses that build community and work to leave the world better than they found it.
