She Plants Love Relaunch

Launched in 2017, She Plants Love is an organic plant-based artisan skincare line rooted in self-love and inclusive beauty. Our mission is to help people reset their skincare rituals through our premium yet affordable products. Think "super elevated essentials" the best in market body butters with incredibly nourishing transparent ingredients. 

Now we're working on a relaunch that will introduce an affordable range, two new products to start, updated luxury packaging, website enhancements and so much more! We've been hard at work, formulating new products, redesigning our packaging and making a major price adjustment all to cater to our community who we believe deserves the best! 

We know first handedly that anything artisan can be very expensive for good reasons,  as part of the relaunch we are working hard to solve for this -- 

• our goal is to make our products available to more customers through a new pricing strategy
• continue to source fine organic ingredients from around the world 
• elevate packaging and customer experience

She Plants Love is fully transparent, we believe our customers deserve to know every ingredient that is in their products so we disclose it all. We also strive to use organic ingredients 99% of the time, because it gives us an additional stamp of approval. We pride ourselves in not using cheap fillers like water in our formulations, which provides minor hydration and nothing more. Our values include cruelty-free, vegan skincare made in the USA. Founded by a South Asian American, we are building a brand that is inclusive of people of color and people from all walks of life through our products, content and messaging.

Founder

I'm Far Momin, mom to a toddler, wife to my soulmate (yes, I believe there's such a thing), and founder and formulator of She Plants Love. 

In 2014 after a six-year run in corporate, I realized that wasn't the direction I wanted to grow in long-term. So I gave in my two weeks notice and YOLO'ed. During that time, I started working with startups and even had time to date! Right?!

On one fine day, I was out with my then-boyfriend (now husband). As I stepped out of the car, my husband goes "what's that cakey stuff on your face"? I was super embarrassed that he noticed my ashy concealer/foundation as the sun beamed over me.

The back story to my skin, I've struggled with hypersensitive skin issues my entire life. I spent so much time and money at the dermatologist. As a South Asian American, I couldn't find beauty products that worked on my complexion and skin type. 

So when my hub gave me the REAL REAL, I was determined to find products that would suit my skin. In that process, I discovered many ingredients that weren't good for our health. I went down a rabbit hole, trying to figure out what products I should be using. I started using plant-based skincare, and it was changing my skin health for the first time. I got obsessed with it, went to aromatherapy school and launched my business in 2017.

As the founder of She Plants Love, I come from a place where I had deep "skinsecurities" way up into adulthood.
