Our Mission
Bringing Life To Seniors, specialize in creating activity packages to help keep seniors active and living a healthy lifestyle. Our sole Mission is to reinvigorate, restore and breathe new life into the senior population. We stand by our mission by providing new energy & strength which enables seniors to restore their wellness through: companionship, mentally stimulating activities, social involvement, diversity, & more.
Most importantly, through our activity packages we're hoping to provide daily structure, give a feeling of productivity, reduce challenging behaviors and improve other brain functions, such as attention, concentration, and focus.
Meet The Owner
Doctoral Student, Senior Advocator, Certified Gerontologist, Founder & CEO of Bringing Life To Seniors, LLC.
I have spent my entire life preparing for this moment. Bringing Life To Seniors is not just a job to me, it is a passion embedded since birth. I was raised by my grandmother, until her early departure, due to cancer when I was 10. Her death caused my very first heart break. She was the backbone of my family, my personal hero and who would have been a living legacy in my eyes. Her very existence in my life was the reason I started Bringing Life To Seniors. To age well is not only a blessing but a gift worth preserving.
Our Products & Services
Due to the pandemic our recent plans for in person interactions with seniors quickly came to a halt. Services offered are limited due to social distancing & the safety of our senior’s health. Bringing Life To Seniors recently launched an Online Social Network.
Our Online Social Network provides the same core values as in person in addition to- focusing on the social aspect of aging, striving to improve the interactions between seniors and the rest of the world, assisting seniors with life enrichment through social interactions and uplifting entertainment, allowing them to stay connected with family, & staying connected with friends who live far away. Services offered are non- challenging, fun, and easy ways to meet new seniors, while staying physically and mentally active at home.
Activity packages are mailed through priority mail to share within our optional online activity session via zoom or google meet during group sessions with other seniors. Activity packages will also include tons of fun things to share with family and friends away from group sessions.
Online Group Activities will range from:
- Dancing....Karaoke.... Fitness/Light Aerobics.... & Bingo.
- Gardening: seeds and planters **will be provided in packages**
- Book Club: Read your favorite book and share the excitement with everyone.
- Cooking: Let us talk, while bonding over food and swap some family recipes.
- Puzzles: Win races while competing in crossword puzzles, creative puzzles & board puzzle wars. Enjoy victory with prizes won mailed to your doorstep.
- Arts & Crafts *DIY- Do It Yourself Projects*: Giant coloring and activity books with provided crayons and markers. Canvas Art. Painting projects that will include paint, wood ornament sets for Christmas, Halloween, or Thanksgiving. Paint wall sentiments, square wood boxes with lids, paint ceramic holiday ornaments, paint wood animals, paint wood bird boxes & wooden word decor, paint and color numerous other projects provided in your activity package mailed to your doorstep.
How Will Your Contribution Help?
The support from our backers will provide the financial backing needed to start at least ‘’500 AWESOME SENIORS’’ off with FREE activity packages to begin their first session. This will allow seniors to get a feel of online group activities at no cost to them in the beginning.
There after activity packages are priced at $60, sold bi-weekly, with 6 online group activity sessions included. For seniors who are experiencing any form of financial difficulty we have a program set up called ‘’Sponsor A Senior Need.’’ The program allows seniors to enjoy all benefits mentioned above while providing the sponsor a ‘’free gift’’ for their sponsorship.
Your contribution of $30,000 will allow Bringing Life To Seniors to effectively market, advertise and build sufficient inventory to supply 500 lucky seniors, free activity packages over a span of 1 year.
$20,000 will help cover our operational budget, inventory, & shipping budget for 1 year. Our operational budget will include a minimal cost for labor, overhead, and administration. Inventory consist of the many items mentioned above, automatically included in our packages shipped at no expense to the senior’s priority mail.
$10,000 will help cover our marketing and advertising budget. Currently, we increase awareness for our cause by advertising through many social media sites such as: Instagram & Facebook. With your backing we would like to also consider direct mailing. Let’s face it, we are dealing with seniors. Most seniors love to stick with the classics for marketing.
