Scipio: Unleashing AI Against Trafficking

Scipio Security is on a mission to eradicate human and drug trafficking through cutting-edge AI-driven cybersecurity. We strive to empower safety, protect vulnerable communities, and redefine the narrative of technology as a force for good. Human and drug trafficking pose grave threats globally. Traditional security measures are inadequate. Scipio addresses inadequacy by leveraging AI for real-time surveillance, enabling proactive identification of trafficking activities. The global market for advanced cybersecurity solutions is projected to reach $300 billion by 2027. Scipio taps into a niche within this market, focusing on the urgent need for innovative technologies to combat human and drug trafficking. In the effort to combat human trafficking specifically, The Global Report on Trafficking in Persons by the UNODC suggests that while there is an increasing trend in the identification of victims and prosecutions, there is still a significant underreporting and under-identification of human trafficking cases. Scipio aims to address the under-identification crisis in trafficking (and other modes of crime): A video surveillance management software, It analyzes video feeds in real-time using  machine learning/AI and behavioral analysis to detect and alert authorities to potential trafficking threats. Our solution is a holistic approach to physical cybersecurity that reduces user-fatigue for cyber/security practitioners and law enforcement monitoring video streams, helping to ensure that less crime goes under-the-radar.

Founded by a human-trafficking survivor, Scipio is a woman-led and founded company with the mission of using technology and AI to combat human/drug trafficking. I am currently seeking crowdfunding and my number one priority would be talent acquisition as I start to build out my co-founder team with the right individuals to help me get the job done and begin prototyping our product. Currently, our team is only comprised of myself, with the consulting help of a dear friend of mine who is in the community outreach world. Together, we bring a wealth of experience in cybersecurity, AI/ML, and community outreach.
