We are in the build-out stage to open our business! Help us open our farm-to-table cafe with books, arts, and music in one place!
Project Description
Rose N' Book Cafe will be a unique destination located in Haines City, Florida. We will sell farm-to-table foods and beverages including artisan sandwiches, soups, salads, baked goods, teas, and coffees. Additionally we will sell handmade artwork created by our staff and partner artists. Products will include soaps, candles, handbags, bookmarks, paintings, and wooden wands. On occasion, we will also host local bands to provide much needed entertainment to the area.
The funds used from this campaign, will be utilized for the build-out to get our building open ready. We will be redoing the floors, installing a kitchen, updating our plumbing and electrical work, and installing solar panels. By using the campaign funds for our build-out, we will then have the freedom to purchase the highest quality ingredients and materials for our food and art products, thus ensuring that our patrons receive the best quality.

- How will the funds be used?
- The funds raised will be used for our build-out to get our location open-ready. The funds will be directly used to replace the floors, install the kitchen equipment, update the plumbing and electrical work, and to install solar panels.
- Is this an environmentally friendly business?
- Yes. We strive to ensure that all of our products and materials come from ethically sourced providers. This includes locally grown produce as well as ethically sourced paints and fabrics for our art/craft creations.
- Who are the artists?
- We have several artists. All of our staff will be artisans who will create new products everyday, as well as partner artists who we will be a distributer for. Currently we have 3 outside artists waiting to show and sell their works within our store.
- Is this business community oriented?
- Yes. We strive to be as community oriented as possible. We will getting our food products from local growers and vendors. Additionally, we will make regular contributions to community programs such as the animal shelters, homeless shelter/soup kitchen, schools, and various other local programs. We aim to support the community that supports us in our endeavors.
